This Privacy Policy explains how the XML Converter & Viewer app ("the App", "we") handles your information.

Summary

The App works offline and processes your files on your device. We do not collect, upload, store, or sell your files or personal data. The only data handling comes from third-party Google services used for ads and purchases, described below.

Files and content you open

XML/JSON and other files you open, paste, view, convert or export are processed entirely on your device. They are never uploaded to us or any server. We have no access to them.

Information we do NOT collect

We do not collect names, email addresses, contacts, location, or the contents of your files. The App has no account system and no analytics SDK of our own.

Third-party services

The free version of the App uses the following Google services, which may process limited data under their own privacy policies:

Google AdMob (advertising). To show ads, AdMob may access advertising identifiers and device/usage information. See Google's privacy policy and AdMob data usage. In the European Economic Area and the UK, a consent dialog is shown before any ads are requested.
Google Play Billing (in-app purchase of "Pro"). Purchases are processed by Google Play; we receive only the purchase status, never your payment details. See Google's privacy policy.

Purchasing Pro removes ads, after which the AdMob SDK no longer requests ads.

Permissions

Internet — required only by the Google ad and billing services above. File processing itself does not use the network.

Children

The App is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Data retention & deletion

App preferences (theme, language, Pro status) are stored locally on your device and removed when you uninstall the App. For data processed by Google services, see the Google links above; you can reset your advertising ID in Android settings at any time.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly.
